2027: No Automatic Ticket for NASS Members ………..APC
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has described as fake the rumour making the rounds that National Assembly members; Senate and House of Representatives would get automatic ticket for 2027 elections .
The party through its national publicity secretary Felix Morka distanced the leadership of the party from such arrangements insisted that all aspirants would be subjected to rigorous primaries to clinch the party’s tickets.
He told party faithful to disregard the information as fake news.
According to Morka ” the attention of APC has been drawn to a purported Breaking News Report tagged APC Grants Automatic Tickets to All National Assembly Members in viral circulation.
“The report is FAKE NEWS and should be disregarded in its entirety as it did not emanate from our great Party.
“We urge all Party members and the general public to disregard the report as FAKE and of mischievous origin”.
Rumour made the rounds that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has assured all National Assembly members of automatic tickets to return to the parliament in 2027.
