A prominent politician based in Delta State, Emmanuel Okotie – Eboh, has lauded Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s effort for the completion of the 20.95 kilometer Trans-Warri-Ode Itsekiri Road Project.
According to him, the project which was initiated about two decades ago, had now become a long dream fulfilled by Governor Oborevwori’s administration.
He said that Deltans, should join hands in supporting the present administration.
In an exclusive interview with our correspondent in Warri , Okotie- Eboh remarked that the all-important project would definitely take away the stress from the busy Warri and its environs.
While noting that the project would boost economic viability in Warri and other parts of the state, he insisted that security should be enhanced for the safety of motorists within the area.
Okotie – Eboh, , described the 20.95 kilometre road project as a monumental and laudable effort aimed at ensuring that things become easy, especially for the people within Warri axis and other ethnic groups in the state.
He urged both the federal and state governments to reactivate Warri, Burutu, Sapele and Koko Ports to further boost the national economy.
The politician opined that it would be proper if the ports were put to use so as to decongest the Lagos seaport, stressing that Calabar port should also be considered for reactivation.
He commended Governor Oborevwori for the flyover he is constructing in Warri, Effurun and other parts of the state, describing it as a testament of the Governor’s MORE AGENDA programme.
While urging Deltans to discard hatred and political bigotry, Okotie – Eboh, son of late chief Festus Okotie – Eboh, sued for peace, cooperation and tranquility for the state to move forward, adding “we all own this state, hence we should continue to support the present administration”.
