Former Director-General of the National Productivity Centre (NPC), Dr Kashim Akor, NPOM, FNIM, has congratulated the Kogi State Governor, His Excellency, Dr Ahmed Usman Ododo, on the occasion of his second year in office, describing the governor as a bridge builder and a unifier.
In a congratulatory message released on Tuesday to mark the anniversary, Dr Akor expressed delight over what he described as the governor’s stable, mature, and inclusive leadership, which he said has fostered peace and unity across the state over the past two years.
He called on the people of Kogi State to rally round the governor, urging them to give him the needed support to sustain the delivery of democratic dividends to the state.
Dr Akor also commended Governor Ododo for the prompt and regular payment of workers’ salaries, as well as the improvement in workers’ welfare, noting that these steps have boosted morale within the public service.
While urging the governor to remain focused, the former NPC Director-General advised him not to be distracted, but to continue consolidating on the gains recorded so far for the benefit of the state and its people.
