No doubt the appointment of Ambassador Ismaila Yusuf was hailed by Nigerians as a perfect match for National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, NAHCON capable of ending erratic leadership, internal rancour among many others.
With versed wealth of experience both administratively and technocratic, the new leadership has set the ball rolling through the outlining of a riot act to guide the modes , model of operation and guidelines that will be devoid of red tapism among many others.
Therefore, in preparation for the 2026 Hajj arrangements, despite at middle of all arrangements has convened the stakeholders meeting capable of addressing the usual teething problems bedeviling it’s operations .
The stakeholders ranging from airliners charged with logistics, movement of pilgrims to and from to the annual event, expected to carry out it’s activities without any hitch.
This boarders on flight delays , flight diversion, and cancelation among many others that will affect the welfare of pilgrims negatively during the annual operation.
Ambassador Ismaila whose diplomatic exposure will facilitate the success story of the 2026 Hajj operation and going forward, has already set the ball rolling in view of the season to avoid operational and avoidable pitfalls .
Aside the national and international exposure, Yusuf will synergize with critical stakeholders as an insider to convert the visible hitches into glaring and expected success in its operation for the year 2026 and going forward.
With high expectations from the leadership of the country under the Renewed Hope Agenda, RHA, of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu who had expressed displeasure on the previous leadership’s of the commission, having reposed alot of confidence in its new appointment.
All hands must be on deck to support the indefatigable leadership of Ambassador Ismaila Yusuf to ensure smooth operation of the season, targeted at the welfare of pilgrims through logistics and accommodation among many others in the holy land .
With adequate bilateral arrangements devoid of any shortcomings, it is obvious that his ascension will be a new dawn in the spiritual exercise carry out by moslems from Nigeria.
All hands must be on deck to support the highly experienced leadership garnered over the decades by the new leadership, with determination to make a difference in the Hajj operation in the country.
