The African Democratic Congress, Nigeria’s main opposition party has said that its membership has increased by 40,000 in twelve hours. It credited the registration surge to INEC’s controversial handling of the party’s affairs.
“Between 7:00 PM last night when the INEC Statement came out, and 7:00 AM this morning, over 40,000 people have registered to join ADC on adcregistration.ng,” Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, the party Spokesperson said on Thursday morning.
