The Managing Director (MD) of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Dr.Samuel Ogbuku, has praised the Minister of Regional Development, Engr Abubakar Momoh, FNSE, for his outstanding roles to Niger Delta Development.
He described him as a leader whose wisdom, competence, and dedication continue to inspire meaningful development.
Speaking during the Three Day Retreat for Ministry of Regional Development/ Regional Development Commissions, he said, the Minister’s impact in public service, “reflects a deep understanding” of the principles of good governance—transparency, accountability, and results-driven administration.
According to him, the Minister had consistently demonstrated the ability to translate policies into tangible outcomes that positively affect the lives of the people of the region.
He emphasized that Momoh’s wealth of experience and calm, strategic approach to leadership had strengthened institutional effectiveness and fostered confidence among stakeholders.
He noted that Momoh’s commitment to service and his capacity to navigate complex governance challenges with clarity and purpose set him apart as a true statesman.
The NDDC MD also highlighted that under Momoh’s guidance, there had been a renewed focus on sustainable development, infrastructural growth, and inclusive policies that ensure no community in Niger Delta was left behind.
He described the Minister as a bridge-builder who prioritizes collaboration and unity in advancing national progress.
Dr. Samuel Ogbuku concluded by reaffirming his admiration for Momoh’s enduring legacy, noting that his leadership “continues to serve as a benchmark for excellence” in governance.
He called on other public office holders to emulate the Minister’s example, stressing that Nigeria’s path to sustainable development depended on leaders who embody integrity, vision, and competence.
