God’s City International Church has announced plans to commemorate its 10th anniversary with a week-long spiritual programme themed “Full Restoration,” scheduled to hold from May 25 to May 31, 2026, at the church’s headquarters in Wuye, Abuja.
Founded in 2016 by Pastor Matthew Morakinyo, the church said the anniversary celebration will serve as a period of thanksgiving, worship, prayer, testimonies, and spiritual renewal to mark a decade of ministry and community outreach within the Federal Capital Territory.
According to the church, the programme will feature daily morning sessions titled “Morning Glory” from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., alongside evening revival meetings from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. throughout the week.
A special vigil, “Night of Restoration,” is scheduled for Friday, May 29, at 9:00 p.m., and will feature guest minister Pastor Kalu Ndukwe.
The anniversary will conclude on Sunday, May 31, with three celebration services at 7:00 a.m., 9:00 a.m., and 11:00 a.m., to be led by Pastor Matthew Morakinyo and Pastor Mary Morakinyo.
All events are expected to take place at God’s City Garden, Plot 862A, Olusegun Obasanjo Way, Wuye, Abuja.
Speaking ahead of the anniversary, Pastor Matthew Morakinyo described the theme “Full Restoration” as both prophetic and symbolic of the church’s journey over the past decade.
“What the enemy has stolen — your peace, health, finances, or joy — God is returning sevenfold. This tenth year is our Jubilee,” he said.
The church also extended an invitation to members of the public, ministers, and worshippers across denominations to participate in what it described as “a season of supernatural recovery” for individuals, families, and the nation.
