Pantami, who withdrew from the APC governorship primary, reportedly reached out to Gombe PDP leaders aligned with FCT Minister Nyesom Wike to seek the gubernatorial ticket, a request which was granted.
Pantami has now been announced today as the party’s governorship candidate at a gathering attended by Senator Ibrahim Dankwambo, who is also a former governor of Gombe State.
