The All Progressives Congress (APC) Delta State House of Assembly Candidate for Ika South Constituency, Hon Cordilia Anyangwu, has sent her consolation message to families of the victims of Agbor tipper crash which occurred on Tuesday morning, at the popular College Junction area in Agbor.
Anyangwu, who was at the Emergency Unit of Central Hospital,Agbor where the victims were taken for urgent medical attention also identified with other victims of the sad incident who suffered various degrees of injury to their bodies.
She expressed sadness over the unfortunate incident as she prayed for the repose of the souls of those who lost their lives in the crash.
While she wished the injured victims quick recovery, she urged family members of the dead victims to take solace in the Lord for He will restore their losses.
The APC State Assembly flag bearer commended residents and the management of Central Hospital, Agbor, for the various relevant roles they played in the reduction of the number of dead casualties.
She, therefore, called on tipper drivers and other motorists to always make sure that their vehicles are in good conditions before using the road. She also, called on officials of the Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC to ensure strict compliance to safety measures by motorists.
The accident which claimed two lives and inflicted serious injuries on nine out of its eleven victims, both male and female, was caused by a tipper driver who lost control of his vehicle as a result of brake failure.
