Members of the One Love Association, Agbor, have endorsed the candidacy of the All Progressives Congress (APC) flag bearer for Ika South Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly (DTHA) , Hon. Mrs. Cordilia Anyangwu.
Speaking during the endorsement, the APC Ward 4 Chairman, Mr. Victor Animele, the Councillor representing Ward 4, Ihu Iyase, and other members of the association expressed their confidence in Hon. Anyangwu’s candidacy and her capacity to provide effective representation for the people of Ika South.
The speakers reaffirmed their support for the existing zoning arrangement between Agbor and Abavo, noting that the understanding had provided a framework for political balance and fairness within Ika South.
They maintained that candidates seeking the House of Assembly seat against the established zoning arrangement would face a difficult political task.
They also commended Hon. Anyangwu for what they described as her impressive record of service and commitment to human capital development.
Particular reference was made to her time at the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) and the Institute of Continuing Education , ICE, where she played a significant role in facilitating teaching employment opportunities for more than 100 persons .
The association urged the people of Ika South to consider competence, experience, commitment and proven service when making their choice at the polls.
The endorsement, they said, reflects their confidence in Hon. Anyangwu and their belief that she “remains well positioned” to represent the interests of the people of Ika South in the Delta State House of Assembly.
