Eugene Azuka Uzum has enjoined relevant authorities in the Delta State Government to take advantage of the PDP-APC unification to address the infrastructural deficits in the state.
Uzum, a lawyer, politician and policy analyst, suggested this against the observable infrastructural deficits in the state.
He said that relevant authorities in the state government should think out- of- the box towards attracting federal presence in the state through concrete collaboration with the Federal Government, adding that insecurity should be tackled determinedly to attract investors into the state.
Uzum frowned at the growing ongoing political rhetorics in the state instead of taking advantage of the new found love between the state and the Federal governments to advance the socio-economic and infrastructural development of the state.
He said that road infrastructure was the worst affected with several roads claimed to be Trunk A in complete state of neglect, just as he lamented the near collapse of the agricultural and industrial sectors owing to insecurity and poor electricity supply respectively, particularly in the coastal zone of the state.
