Introduction:
The National Working Committee is required to approve the timetable for conducting congresses and convention at the state, local government, and ward levels. This is to help the party’s leadership renewal and grassroots participation ahead of the Convention of
April 2026.
Timetable:
A. Polling Unit and Ward Congresses: 2nd April 2026
B. Local Government Congresses: 3rd April 2026
C. State Congresses: 7th April 2026
D. National Convention: 11th April, 2026
Further Submission
– Guideline for nomination, process and procedure for the congresses an will be developed and circulated by the secretariat.
– A 5-person congress committee shall be constituted for each state and congress committee for FCT by the National Secretariat.
– All congresses shall be conducted transparently, fairly, and in accord party constitution.
– The National Secretariat shall provide necessary support and oversight
