As part of her efforts aimed at boosting effective learning in schools, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, who represents Kogi Central in the National Assembly, has distributed digital learning devices to selected schools in Ajaokuta and Adavi Local Government Areas as part of efforts to modernise education in the district.
The lawmaker made the distribution during visits to schools on Friday, stressing her commitment to equipping students with technology needed to thrive in a rapidly changing world.
Beneficiary Schools include: LGEA Primary School, Ganaja, LGEA Standard College, Ganaja (Ajaokuta), Adavi Local Government Science Secondary School, Nagazi-Eba (Adavi LGA), Akpoti-Uduaghan stated that access to digital learning tools is no longer optional but essential for preparing students for global competitiveness.
She added that the initiative would continue next week, with further distribution planned across other local government areas in Kogi Central as part of a broader plan to digitalise learning in schools within the district.
According to her, investing in children’s education remains key to building a stronger future for communities, the state, and the country at large.
