The Rivers State House of Assembly has on Thursday initiated impeachment proceedings against Governor Sim Fubara and his Deputy, Professor Ngozi Odu.
Major Jack, the leader of the Rivers State House of Assembly, read the gross misconduct charges against Governor Fubara, signed by 26 members of the assembly. The Speaker, Martins Amaewhule, said the notice of gross misconduct will be served to Governor Fubara in the next 7 days.
