Defection: Delta State Governor, Oborevwori, Meets Tinubu In Aso Rock
President Bola Tinubu and the Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori are currently having a closed door meeting, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Recall that Oborevwori recently decamped from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressive Congress (APC), a development that took the Nigerian political scene by surprise.
Former Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, who served as running mate to the PDP Presidential flagbearer in the 2023 general elections, Atiku Abubakar, was also among those who crossed over to the APC in the oil-rich state.
