Delta State Government has commenced disbursement of The 2024/2025 Students Special Assistance Scheme (Bursary Award) to qualified students of Delta State origin in tertiary institutions across the country.
This was contained in a statement from the State Bursary and Scholarship Board, signed by the Executive Secretary, Dr. Godfrey Enita, copies of which were made available to journalists in Warri on Wednesday.
The statement urged “the general public, particularly students of Delta State origin currently enrolled in tertiary institutions across Nigeria”, to take note of the announcement.
According to the Board’s Executive Secretary, “the payment is strictly for eligible Delta State students who successfully completed the required registration and verification processes for the 2024/2025 bursary exercise”.
The Executive Secretary expressed profound appreciation to the State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, “for his unwavering commitment to the welfare of Delta State students and for strengthening educational development as a key pillar of the M.O.R.E Agenda of his administration”.
The Executive Secretary encouraged all beneficiaries to remain focused on their academic pursuits and to “continue to uphold the pride, excellence, and integrity of Delta State in their respective institutions”.
