The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has announced an extension of the application deadline for the 2025/2026 academic session from 31 January to 27 February 2026.
According to NELFUND, the extension is to provide additional opportunity for prospective applicants who are yet to apply or complete their applications to submit all required information on or before 27 February 2026.
In view of this development, the Delta State Government has urged all eligible students of Delta State origin in higher educational institutions across Nigeria to take advantage of the extended deadline and apply free of charge via the official NELFUND portal at https://nelf.gov.ng by clicking on “Apply Now.”
