A commercial transporter and stalwart of the People’s Democratic Party ( PDP) in Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, Comrade Dennis Araro, has described the recent Vanguard Newspaper award to Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, as eminently deserved.
He said it was expected, having regard to what he termed the impressive development strides of the state government under the watch of Oborevwori.
Vanguard Newspapers, at the weekend, handed Governor Oborevwori the year 2024 Good Governance award.
The award, given out an impressive ceremony in Lagos, was one among legion awards recently conferred on Oborevwori by various interest groups in Nigeria.
In reaction to the weekend development, Araro, a PDP frontliner in Ika South Local Government Area, said the award had simultaneously consolidated the MORE Agenda of the governor and exponentially enhanced his earned appeal, based on his performance.
Araro, who spoke to the Press from Agbor, seat of the local government area, noted that in virtually all sectors-
of the economy, particularly education, human capital development , agriculture, health, roads and related infrastructure, Oborevwori had excelled beyond expectation.
He said the award, taken together with previous ones, had confirmed the across-the- board appeal of the governor and his administration.
Araro urged Deltans other residents of the state to subsist in their support of the governor and his administration to spur him in his quest to further develop the state .
The PDP faithful said that a veritable way that Deltans could demonstrate their support for the governor and his administration was not only during elections but also by ensuring that public projects in their areas are delivered to specifications and safeguarded from theft and vandalism.
