President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated Professor Abiodun Adeniyi, distinguished academic and veteran journalist, on the occasion of his 60th birthday.
Professor Adeniyi, a Professor of Communication and the current Registrar of Baze University, Abuja, has built an illustrious career spanning academia, journalism, media strategy, and public relations.
In a statement issued by his spokesman, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu extolled Professor Adeniyi’s immense contributions to scholarship and the media landscape, noting that the erudite scholar has distinguished himself as a journalist, author, essayist, public analyst, and commentator.
“Professor Adeniyi is a public intellectual of note who has made significant interventions in public policy discourse and has facilitated numerous capacity-building initiatives across sectors,” the President said.
President Tinubu commended Professor Adeniyi for his dedication to national development through knowledge, thought leadership, and professional excellence, and wished him many more years of good health, continued success, and impactful service to the nation.
