President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Alhaji Ibrahim Kabiru Masari, his close ally, as Special Adviser on Political Affairs.
President Tinubu first appointed Masari in 2023 as a senior special assistant for the same role.
Previously, the Katsina-born politician served as the party’s welfare secretary during the tenure of Senator Adams Oshiomhole as party chairman.
“As a special adviser, Masari will work alongside Alhaji Yau Darazo, whom Tinubu appointed in July 2023,” Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, said.
