Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited (TSSNL) has commissioned a newly rebuilt office of the Headquarters of 3 Battalion Nigerian Army, Effurun Barracks, as part of its efforts to support government security agencies.
The Managing Director of TSSNL, Engr. Kestin Pondi, emphasised that the company is committed to upholding the highest standards of collaboration and service in support of government security services.
“We have worked tirelessly since our engagement in 2022 by the NNPCL with government security agencies to combat crude oil theft and related economic sabotage,” Pondi said.
The commissioning of the projects, which include the remodelled Headquarters of Sector, Operations Delta Safe (OPDS), demonstrates Tantita’s commitment to investing in people, capacity, and operational readiness.
Maj. Gen. Emmanuel Ejim-Emekah, General Officer Commanding (GOC) 6 Division, Nigerian Army, said the improved security of critical national assets, particularly oil and gas infrastructure, has driven the gradual rise in crude oil output.
“Tantita is doing a lot in support of 6 Division. They are not only active in Delta State, but also extending their interventions to Rivers and Bayelsa States,” Ejim-Emekah said.
The GOC praised the quality and functionality of the projects, saying they reflect a clear understanding of Command responsibility and the link between welfare, sound administration, and operational effectiveness.
The ceremony was attended by senior military officers, representatives of sister security agencies, community leaders, and other stakeholders, highlighting the growing impact of private-sector participation in strengthening national security and boosting Nigeria’s oil production.
