….Calls on Peter Obi, Atiku, Kwankwaso and Seyi Makinde to join President Tinubu’s Government of Unity
Leading President Tinubu support group, The Bridge for Renewed Hope has declared its unwavering support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The group described the ongoing internal crises rocking Nigeria’s opposition parties as self-inflicted and the consequence of poor leadership by the leadership of the parties, conflicting ambitions among the opposition leaders, and a lack of ideological direction in the opposition parties.
According to Hon. Rowland Odih, former Atiku/Peter Obi 2019 campaign media aide and currently Director-General of The Bridge for Renewed Hope; the persistent divisions in the opposition, mass defections out of the opposition parties to the ruling party, and leadership disputes within the opposition have exposed the opposition’s inability to provide a credible and united alternative for Nigerians.
He stated that while the opposition continues to battle internal instability, President Tinubu has remained focused on governance, implementing reforms aimed at strengthening the economy, improving infrastructure, enhancing national security, and laying the foundation for long-term national development.
Hon. Rowland in a Wednesday statement by the media office of The Bridge for Renewed Hope, urged former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, and Governor Seyi Makinde and other opposition members to put national interest above partisan politics by joining President Tinubu’s Government of National Unity in the interest of peace, stability, and accelerated development.
He argued that Nigeria’s current challenges require collective patriotism rather than endless political confrontation, adding that the time has come for political leaders across party lines to work together in support of policies that promote national progress.
Hon. Rowland re-affirmed his confidence in President Tinubu’s leadership, describing him as a courageous and reform-minded leader committed to building a stronger, more prosperous, and united Nigeria. He called on Nigerians to continue supporting the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda and to embrace unity as the pathway to sustainable national development.
