…..Urges Christians to Reject Muslim-Muslim Ticket in 2027
The Founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide (Winners Chapel), Bishop David Oyedepo, has cautioned members of his church against supporting what he described as a “destructive government” in the 2027 general elections.
Speaking during a church service, Oyedepo stressed that no member of his congregation should “play the fool” by making poor electoral choices, particularly those that could undermine national unity and progress.
The cleric specifically criticized the controversial Muslim-Muslim ticket associated with the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), arguing that such arrangements weaken Nigeria’s federal character and inclusiveness.
Recalling the 2023 elections, Oyedepo questioned the impact of monetary inducements on voters, suggesting that members of his church should not repeat past mistakes.
“The money they gave you in the last election, I’m sure it’s still there. I don’t think any member of this church will play the fool this time,” he said.
He urged Nigerians, especially his followers, to vote wisely in 2027, emphasizing the need to support leadership that promotes unity, fairness, and national development.
