President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated entrepreneur Matthew Tonlagha, a distinguished Nigerian entrepreneur and philanthropist,
on his 50th birthday on February 8.
“Attaining the age of 50 is a significant milestone, and I join Tonlagha’s friends and family to celebrate this special occasion.
“It is fitting that he is unveiling a book as part of the activities to mark his 50th birthday. I
commend him for his pursuit of knowledge and chronicling for posterity.
“I also acknowledge Tonlagha’s years of effort in community-building and,by extension, nation-building through his advocacies for the Niger Delta communities,” President Tinubu said.
“I commend the entrepreneur,who is the founder of Maton Engineering Limited,for his
contributions to securing oil and gas infrastructure across multiple states in the Niger Delta.
“I encourage Tonlagha to sustain his community-building efforts and philanthropy, including
sponsoring education and medical services,providing scholarships,funding skill-acquisition programmes,and supporting vulnerable communities across the Niger Delta. As he celebrates his golden jubilee,I wish him good health and strength and more years of
robust impact,” President Tinubu further said.
