Hon. Oladimeji Fabiyi, former pioneer financial officer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has been inaugurated as the Deputy Zonal Financial Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Southwest.
Fabiyi’s nomination was ratified by the Southwest zonal caucus of the ADC during the party’s meeting in Ibadan on Tuesday.
Other officials whose nominations were approved at the Ibadan meeting include:
Mr. Akinbowale Omole – National Vice Chairman, Southwest
Capt. Tunji Shelle – National Director of Communication & Programmes
Alh. Kafilat Olayiwola – Deputy National Woman Leader
Arc. Bashir Lawal – Assistant National Secretary, Diversity & Inclusion Secretary
Prof. Bode Ayorinde – Assistant National Organising Secretary
Mrs. Yidiat Oseni – Deputy Coordinator, Diaspora
Olufemi Adeleye – Assistant National Woman Leader
Lady Lydia Olufunmiloye – Assistant National Woman Leader
The National Secretary of the ADC and former Governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, congratulated the new national and zonal officers, urging them to work in the overall interest of the party.
He emphasized that the ADC is being strategically positioned to rescue Nigeria from the “grip of the ruinous APC,” adding: “The task ahead is enormous; we must be ready to lead Nigerians out of the woods.”
Speaking on behalf of the new executives, Fabiyi commended Aregbesola’s exemplary leadership and pledged dedication to the success of the party.
