The African Democratic Congress ADC Vice Chairman, North Central, Sen. Tunde Ogbeha, has commended the party for the smooth and successful conduct of its screening exercise for aspirants in Kogi State.
Speaking after the exercise, Ogbeha described the process as transparent, orderly, and a strong indication of the party’s commitment to internal democracy and due process.
“I commend the African Democratic Congress for the successful screening of aspirants in Kogi State. The process was conducted in a manner that reflects discipline, fairness, and respect for party procedures,” he said.
The ADC chieftain thanked the screening committee for carrying out its assignment with diligence and impartiality. He also praised the aspirants for their maturity and the supporters for maintaining peace throughout the exercise.
“I thank the screening committee for their professionalism, the aspirants for their conduct, and the party supporters for their peaceful comportment. This is how political parties should operate if we are serious about building strong democratic institutions,” Ogbeha added.
He noted that the orderly manner of the screening would help strengthen public confidence in the ADC ahead of the 2027 elections in Kogi State.
The party has recorded significant growth in the state in recent months, with new entrants joining its ranks as it positions itself as a viable alternative ahead of the next election cycle.
