An Air Peace flight travelling from Abuja to Asaba, Delta State, reportedly made an emergency landing in Lagos following a suspected technical fault mid-flight.
The aircraft, which departed Abuja for Asaba, was said to have been diverted to Lagos after one of its systems reportedly developed a fault during the journey.
The development disrupted the flight’s scheduled arrival in Asaba, forcing an unscheduled landing in Lagos.
Details surrounding the nature of the technical problem and the condition of passengers and crew members were not immediately available.
It was also unclear whether the airline had made alternative arrangements to convey the affected passengers to Asaba.
As of the time of filing this report, Air Peace had yet to issue an official statement confirming the circumstances surrounding the reported incident.
