The African Democratic Congress ADC governorship candidate in Niger State Alh. Mohammed Kpautagi has declared that he will run an all inclusive administration in Niger state if elected.
Addressing delegates and new party members immediately after his victory, Kpautagi pledged to run an all inclusive government that will carry every community, tribe, and religion along.
“My administration will be all inclusive. No citizen will be left behind because of tribe, religion, or political affiliation,” Kpautagi said. “We will bring competence, transparency, and fairness to governance, and ensure resources and opportunities reach all 25 local government areas.”
He identified security, agriculture, education, healthcare, and youth employment as his core priorities. Kpautagi also promised to respect local government autonomy and involve traditional rulers, women groups, youth leaders, and civil society in decision making.
The ADC candidate stressed the importance of experience and wisdom in governance.
“I will consult our elders and senior citizens on many issues because Niger State is blessed with eminent elders and statesmen,” he said. “Their guidance will help us make decisions that stand the test of time.”
On the tone of his campaign, Kpautagi made his stance clear:
“My campaign will be issue based and not to malign anybody’s personality. Niger State deserves a conversation about development, security, jobs, and the future of our children.”
Expressing confidence ahead of the main election, he added:
“We are in the race to win, and by the special grace of God we’re going to be victorious.”
Delegates and supporters at the venue applauded the declaration, saying the ADC now has a candidate with a message of unity, respect for elders, and accountability.
Kpautagi is expected to lead the ADC into the next governorship election as the party positions itself as a credible alternative for voters in Niger State.
