Edo Queens FC produced a sensational display on Monday, August 24, 2026, cruising to a commanding 7–0 victory over AS Garde Nationale of Niger in their WAFU-B Women’s Champions League qualifying clash in Niamey.
The Nigerian champions wasted no time asserting their dominance, with prolific forward, Chioma Moses, opening the scoring just five minutes into the encounter.
Moses doubled the advantage deep into first-half stoppage time, calmly converting from the penalty spot in the 45+3rd minute to give Edo Queens a comfortable 2–0 lead at the break.
The Queens resumed the second half with even greater intensity, as Atume Doosuur struck twice in quick succession. She scored in the 47th minute before adding her second in the 56th minute to make it 4–0.
Aminat Folorunsho then joined the scoring party in the 62nd minute, further extending Edo Queens’ commanding advantage.
