In the spirit of unity, sacrifice, and faith that defines this blessed season, I, Senator Abdul Ahmed Ningi, extend my heartfelt Eid al-Adha greetings to the entire Muslim Ummah across the globe.
Eid al-Adha reminds us of the profound legacy of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and his unwavering submission to Allah’s command. It is a time that calls us to reflect on sacrifice, obedience, compassion, and service to humanity. These are not just religious ideals; they are principles that should guide how we relate to one another as neighbors, as a community, and as a nation.
As your representative, I have always believed that leadership is about being present for the people listening, serving, and standing with you in both moments of joy and challenge.
Today, on this sacred occasion, my prayer is that Allah accepts the sacrifices of those performing Hajj and those offering Qurban in their various homes.
May He grant peace to our homes, healing to the sick, provision to the needy, and unity to our communities.
To the Muslim brothers and sisters in Bauchi State, Nigeria, and across the world: Eid Mubarak. May this Eid bring renewed hope, strengthen the bonds of brotherhood, and remind us that our strength lies in our shared faith and shared humanity. Let us use this period to forgive, to reconcile, and to extend a hand to those around us who may be struggling.
I urge us all to celebrate with moderation, to remember the less privileged, and to uphold the values of respect and kindness that Islam teaches. Politics may divide opinions, but our faith and our common destiny as people should always unite us.
Once again, I wish you and your families a peaceful, blessed, and joyful Eid al-Adha. May Allah accept our ibada, forgive our shortcomings, and grant us many more Eids in good health and prosperity.
Eid Mubarak!
Senator Abdul Ahmed Ningi, OON, CON,. Serving the People of Bauchi Central Senatorial District.
