Former Director General of Atiku Youth Wing and presently the Director General of The Bridge for Renewed Hope, Hon. Rowland Odih, has on Monday x-rayed the resounding victory of the APC in the recently conducted 2026 Ekiti State Governorship Election, describing the outcome as a reaffirmation of the confidence of the people of Ekiti State in progressive governance and effective leadership.
Hon. Rowland stated that Governor Oyebanji’s overwhelming mandate is a testament to his outstanding performance, people-oriented policies of the APC, and the party’s commitment to the development and prosperity of Ekiti State and all Nigerians.
According to him, the victory reflects the overwhelming trust reposed in the Governor and the APC by the people of Ekiti State and all Nigerians. He further said it validates the numerous achievements recorded by the APC in Ekiti State and across the country.
The Director General further extended his congratulations to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, noting that the Ekiti election result underscores the growing acceptance of the Renewed Hope Agenda across the country.
“The victory of Governor Biodun Oyebanji is not only a triumph for the APC in Ekiti State but also a strong endorsement of the visionary leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. It demonstrates that Nigerians are increasingly appreciating the bold reforms and strategic policies being implemented by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to reposition the nation’s economy and strengthen democratic governance,” Rowland said.
He added that the outcome of the Ekiti governorship election serves as a significant political indicator ahead of the 2027 Presidential Election, expressing confidence that President Tinubu will secure an overwhelming mandate from Nigerians to continue his transformational agenda.
“Ekiti people have once again spoken clearly in support of progressive leadership. This victory sends a strong message that the APC remains the preferred platform for development, stability, and national progress. We at the Bridge for Renewed Hope, are convinced that the growing support being witnessed across the country for the APC will culminate in a massive victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 Presidential Election.”
Hon. Rowland urged party faithfuls and supporters of the Renewed Hope Agenda to remain united and committed to the collective goal of building a stronger, more prosperous, and inclusive Nigeria.
He wished Governor Oyebanji continued success in his second term and expressed confidence that his administration would consolidate on its achievements for the benefit of the people of Ekiti State.
