Former Director-General of Atiku Youth Wing and now Director-General of The Bridge for Renewed Hope, Hon. Rowland Odih, has on Friday reacted to the recent Federal High Court ruling in Lokoja concerning the identity and logo dispute involving the National Democratic Coalition (NDC), describing the development as a reminder of the importance of building political movements on lawful and credible foundations.
Rowland noted that while the judicial process should be respected, the unfolding events present an opportunity for well-meaning Nigerians to rally behind the winning ticket which is the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ticket for 2027.
He called on Peter Obi and his supporters fondly called “Obidients”, to embrace national unity and rally behind the administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu and support the re-election campaign of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
According to him, President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda has continued to record significant strides in economic reforms, infrastructure development, security enhancement, and institutional reforms aimed at repositioning Nigeria for sustainable growth.
He stated that rather than remaining divided along political lines, Nigerians should unite behind policies and leadership that prioritize national development over partisan interests.
“I respectfully call on Peter Obi, his supporters, and all patriotic Nigerians to join hands with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the collective task of building a stronger, more prosperous Nigeria. The challenges confronting our nation as inherited by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu back in 2023, require unity, constructive engagement, and a shared commitment to progress,” Rowland said in a statement made available by the Media Office of The Bridge for Renewed Hope, to the media.
He added that the 2027 general elections should not merely be viewed as a political contest but as an opportunity to consolidate ongoing reforms that will deliver lasting benefits to future generations. He emphasized that the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration presents the exact needed opportunity that is taking Nigeria to the promised land.
Hon. Rowland expressed confidence that as more Nigerians witness the impact of the Renewed Hope Agenda, support for President Tinubu’s re-election in 2027 will continue to grow across all regions of the country.
He concluded by urging political actors to respect the rule of law, avoid actions capable of undermining democratic institutions, and place Nigeria’s national interest above individual or partisan ambitions.
