The political movement identified with the proposed “RESET” agenda has continued to generate momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections, following a strategic meeting between Hon. Abraham Omachoko and Oyo State Governor, Engr. Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde.
Omachoko met with Governor Makinde for discussions on the state of the nation, the challenges confronting Nigerians and the need to chart a new direction for the country.
A statement announcing the meeting said the engagement was driven by a broader vision beyond partisan politics, stressing the need to build a Nigeria capable of delivering a better future for the next generation.
“This is bigger than politics. It is about the Nigeria we want to leave for the next generation,” the statement said.
The meeting has fueled fresh political discussions around the emerging “RESET” agenda and the reported alignment between Makinde and the political movement associated with the Daura political network.
The post, shared on social media, described the initiative as gathering momentum and declared: “The vision is clear. The mission is clear. The time to RESET is now.”
It further used the slogan, “Together, we can RESET Nigeria,” while expressing support for the 2027 political project.
The post also referred to the emerging political platform as “APM” and described it as “a moving train,” while expressing optimism about the 2027 political contest.
The development comes as political realignments and coalition-building efforts intensify ahead of the 2027 elections, with politicians and political groups increasingly engaging across traditional party and regional lines.
