Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has extended warm felicitations to prominent Niger Delta leader, Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, on the occasion of his 55th birth anniversary celebrated on April 12.
In a goodwill message issued Yesterday by his Chief Press Secretary, Festus Ahon, the governor described Tompolo as a respected figure whose contributions have significantly promoted peace, security, and development in the Niger Delta and across Nigeria.
Oborevwori highlighted Tompolo’s leadership as Chairman of Tantita Security Services Limited, noting that his efforts have played a crucial role in combating crude oil theft, increasing oil production, and boosting national revenue.
He also commended Ekpemupolo’s support for the Delta State Security Trust Fund, describing it as a clear demonstration of his commitment to protecting lives and property.
According to the governor, both state governments in the Niger Delta and the Federal Government continue to appreciate Tompolo’s dedication to maintaining peace and stability in the region.
Oborevwori further described him as a proud son of the Niger Delta who has consistently collaborated with key stakeholders to advance development.
The governor be for continued good health, wisdom, and strength for the celebrant, urging him to remain steadfast in his service to humanity and the nation.
