The immediate past Governor of Delta State, Senator Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, is currently at the Art and Culture Centre, Asaba, where he is flagging off his consultations for the Delta North Senatorial seat.
The engagement begins with stakeholders in Oshimili South Local Government Area and will extend across the entire Senatorial District.
The ongoing event marks the formal commencement of a series of consultations ahead of the 2027 general elections , bringing together party leaders, traditional rulers , community representatives, youth and women groups, and other key stakeholders to deliberate on the political direction and representation of Delta North.
The consultations are expected to foster broad-based engagement and consensus-building across the district, as discussions continue on strengthening unity, enhancing representation, and consolidating development priorities within Delta North.
Senator Okowa arrived the venue alongside political associates and stakeholders for the commencement of the exercise.
