Former Director-General of Atiku Youth Wing and now Director-General of The Bridge for Renewed Hope, Hon. Rowland Odih has on Friday evening commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the successful rescue of the abducted Oyo school children and teachers. He described the development as a clear demonstration of the President’s commitment to safeguarding the lives of Nigerians.
In a statement issued and signed by the media office of The Bridge for Renewed Hope, Hon. Rowland said the successful rescue operation reflects the growing effectiveness of Nigeria’s security architecture under President Tinubu’s leadership. He added that the President Tinubu administration has since its inception on May 29, 2023 continued to strengthen the capacity of the nation’s security agencies to combat insecurity.
He praised the Armed Forces of Nigeria, the Nigeria Police Force, the Department of State Services, and all other security agencies involved in the operation for their courage, professionalism, and dedication to duty.
Speaking on the development, Hon. Rowland said:
“I warmly commend President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the successful rescue of the abducted Oyo school children and teachers. This achievement once again demonstrates the President’s unwavering commitment to protecting the lives of Nigerians.”
He added:
“President Tinubu has shown exceptional leadership as Commander-in-Chief by consistently supporting and empowering security agencies to confront criminality across the country. The outcome of this rescue operation is evidence that the administration’s security strategies are yielding positive results.”
Hon. Rowland further stated:
“Since Nigeria’s return to democratic rule in 1999, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has, in my view, distinguished himself as the most active and effective Commander-in-Chief. His administration has demonstrated resolve in addressing insecurity through decisive leadership, improved coordination among security agencies, and sustained support for our armed forces.”
He urged Nigerians to continue supporting the nation’s security agencies by providing useful information that would assist them in preventing and combating crime.
According to him:
“Security is a collective responsibility. Every Nigerian has a role to play by cooperating with our security agencies and providing credible intelligence that will help keep our communities safe.”
Hon. Rowland also called on Nigerians to continue embracing the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu, noting that the administration’s reforms are gradually delivering positive outcomes across critical sectors of the economy.
“I encourage Nigerians to continue to key into the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The reforms being implemented today are laying a solid foundation for a more secure, prosperous, and united Nigeria. I also urge Nigerians to support President Tinubu’s 2027 re-election so that these reforms and achievements can be sustained and expanded for the benefit of all,” he concluded.
