City Boy Movement partner-group, the Bridge for Renewed Hope has congratulated Senator Abdulaziz Yari, Governor Hope Uzodimma and other members appointed into the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council for the 2027 general elections.
President Tinubu has constituted the APC Presidential Campaign Council, appointing former Zamfara State Governor and Senator representing Zamfara West, Abdulaziz Yari, as Director-General, while Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, was named Secretary. President Tinubu will serve as Chairman, with Vice President Kashim Shettima and APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, as Vice Chairmen.
In a congratulatory message, Hon. Odih Rowland, former Director-General of Atiku Youth Wing and currently Director-General of The Bridge for Renewed Hope described the composition of the council as a strategic and formidable team capable of effectively coordinating the APC’s nationwide campaign and grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
He particularly commended the choice of Senator Yari as Director-General, describing him as an experienced politician with extensive grassroots connections and a strong understanding of Nigeria’s political landscape.
He also congratulated Governor Uzodimma on his appointment as Secretary, noting that his experience as Imo State Governor, Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum and a key mobiliser for the Renewed Hope Agenda would be valuable to the campaign. Governor Uzodimma has previously expressed strong support for President Tinubu’s re-election and called for nationwide grassroots mobilisation.
Hon. Rowland further said the appointments demonstrate President Tinubu’s commitment to building a campaign structure that combines experience, political capacity, grassroots reach and strategic coordination.
“I congratulate Senator Abdulaziz Yari, Governor Hope Uzodimma and every member of the APC Presidential Campaign Council on their well-deserved appointments. I am confident that this team has what it takes to deliver a decisive victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.
“Senator Yari brings enormous political experience and grassroots reach to the table, while Governor Uzodimma has demonstrated exceptional capacity in mobilisation and political coordination. Their complementary strengths will be critical to the success of President Tinubu’s re-election campaign.
“I have no doubt that with the calibre of individuals appointed to this council, the APC is fully prepared to take the message of Renewed Hope to every part of Nigeria and present the achievements of President Tinubu to Nigerians and easily secure re-election for President Tinubu,” Hon. Rowland said in a Saturday statement made available by the media office of The Bridge for Renewed Hope.
Hon. Rowland further urged members of the campaign council and APC stakeholders to remain united, disciplined and focused on issue-based engagement with Nigerians.
He said the 2027 election will provide an opportunity for Nigerians to assess the policies and reforms of the Tinubu administration, adding that the campaign should focus on communicating the administration’s achievements and its vision for the country’s future.
He expressed optimism that the campaign council will work closely with APC structures, Governors, elected representatives, support groups and grassroots stakeholders to build a formidable nationwide mobilisation network.
“President Tinubu has entrusted this responsibility to this team of capable hands, and I am confident that they will justify the confidence reposed in them. I therefore have every reason to believe that the APC Presidential Campaign Council as constituted will deliver a resounding victory for President Tinubu in 2027,” Hon. Rowland stated.
He called on APC members and supporters across the country to rally behind the campaign council and work collectively towards the re-election of President Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima.
