Igumale is bracing for a major political moment on Wednesday, February 11, as the African Democratic Congress (ADC) formally unveils its party structure and parades its aspirants at Egwu Square by 2:00pm.
The event is expected to draw a formidable lineup of political leaders, technocrats, and grassroots mobilisers, underscoring the party’s growing influence in the area. Among those slated to attend are Hon. Sir John Ngbede, Prof. David Salifu, Dr. David Olofu, Rt. Hon. Samson Okwu, Hon. Chris Adaba Abah, Engr. Andrew Abah, Engr. Stephen Adoyi, Hon. Ralph Otobo Odo, Hon. Inalegwu Ejembi, Comrade Emmanuel Orih Obotu, Hon. Ogwuche Agada (Guchi), Hon. Gabriel Onoja, Hon. Abeje Egwa, Hon. Oowo Mark Ameh, Hon. Desmond Anthony, Dr. Adakole Elijah, and Hon. Barr. Jacob Ogwuche, among others.
Beyond the formal unveiling of the party’s structure, ADC aspirants will be officially presented to party members and supporters, while party materials will also be rolled out—moves seen as part of a deliberate grassroots expansion strategy.
Convened by Chief Patrick Ogbu, the gathering is widely viewed by political observers as a bold statement of intent and a clear signal of the ADC’s rising momentum and determination to become a major force in Igumale’s political landscape.
