The Managing Director of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, Chief John Nani, has paid a glowing tribute to the late Governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, on his passing.
In the piece which he mailed to The Blaze on Tuesday, he held the late Governor as a kind and efficient leader.
The DESOPADEC MD said that even as governor, Uduaghan was so selfless and visionary that he helped breed the younger generation to become better than him and his.
Nani submitted that Uduaghan, by his Nature, taught others how political power should be handled with a deep sense of responsibility and humility.
Part of Nani’s tribute read, “The world is a theatre for men to perform what they have in their folded arms at birth. Emmanuel eweta uduaghan’s hands was full of kindness. He changed the narrative of ‘don’t allow others grow as not to become your future boss’.”
The DESOPADEC boss added, “He was a BOSS LOOKING FOR YOUNGER ONES TO BE HIS FUTURE BOSS which is scarce in nature. He defeated selfishness in power. He fulfilled his destiny. Leaving the legacy of how power must be handled.”
Then, he went personal;
“My governor, My elder brother, My boss and My settler, I hail you even in death. Rest in Peace”.
