… Pledges effective representation for Ika South LGA
The aspiration of Hon. Mrs. Cordilia Anyangwu to represent Ika South Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly ,(DTHA) received a significant boost on Friday as she paid a consultative visit to members of the Nigeria Association of Patent and Proprietary Medicine Dealers (NAPPMED), Agbor Chapter.
At the occasion, she sought their support for her candidacy on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Speaking during the association’s general meeting held in Agbor Hon. Anyangwu appealed to members of the association to support her aspiration, assuring them that she would not disappoint if elected to represent the constituency.
She emphasized her commitment to providing equitable and inclusive representation, and promised to champion policies and initiatives that would promote the welfare and the I really development of all constituents, irrespective of political, social, or economic background.
According to her, the task of effective representation required a leader who is accessible, accountable, and dedicated to actively protecting tm the collective interests of the people, noting that her aspiration “is driven by a genuine desire to contribute meaningfully to the growth and progress of Ika Nation.”
Responding, Comr. Aghaiji Monday Chinedu (State leader), Comr. Macaulay Ukawe ( Chairman Ika South NAPPMED), Comr. Edwin Irabor (Patron), Comr. Ayo Aghulor (Secretary) among others, in their separate remarks, expressed delight at Hon. Anyangwu’s candidacy and commended her for engaging stakeholders through consultation.
He assured the APC flag bearer of the association’s support, and pledged massive votes for her and other candidates of the party during the 2027 general elections.
The meeting featured interactive discussions between the aspirant and members of the association, with participants expressing optimism that her emergence would bring quality representation and accelerated development to Ika South Constituency.
The visit forms part of Anyangwu’s ongoing grassroots consultations aimed at galvanizing support across various groups and stakeholders within the constituency, ahead of the 2027 polls.
