The Eleme of Obi-Ayima has assured the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) of overwhelming support and massive votes for all its candidates, from the presidential election to the Delta State House of Assembly, in the forthcoming general elections.
The Eleme gave the assurance when the APC candidate for Ika South Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Mrs. Cordilia Anyangwu, paid him a thank-you visit at his palace in Obi-Ayima Community, Abavo, Ika South Local Government Area.
The Eleme described Hon. Anyangwu as a woman of great compassion, integrity, and vision.
He noted that her visit symbolized a homecoming and commended her for remaining a worthy daughter of Obi-Ayima who had continued to identify with her people.
Speaking during the visit, Hon. Anyangwu expressed profound appreciation to the Eleme and the people of Obi-Ayima for their unwavering support during the APC primary election. She appealed for even greater support in the forthcoming general elections, not only for her but also for all APC candidates from the presidency to the State Assembly positions.
She urged the people of Obi-Ayima to remain united, peaceful, and committed to the progress of their community, stressing that unity would strengthen their collective voice in attracting meaningful development.
Hon. Anyangwu assured the people of effective and responsive representation if elected, and promised to champion for improved infrastructure, quality legislation, and policies that would advance the welfare of Obi-Ayima and other oil-producing communities in Ika South Local Government Area.
The visit ended on a high note as the Eleme offered special prayers and blessings for Hon. Anyangwu’s success at the polls and for the victory of all APC candidates in the forthcoming elections.
