The Federal University Community express its heartfelt appreciation to the Honourable Minister Prince Shuaibu Abubakar Audu and the Managing Director of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), Abba Abubakar, for their collaborative efforts in bringing a transformative solar energy project of 1.700KW to Federal University Lokoja . This initiative is another achievement for the President Tinubu Renew hope Intervention in energy sector.This is a significant milestones for the staffs and students of the university community,while reflecting a commitment to sustainable development and the well being of our campuses and academic environment.
A 400-level Student of Sociology Comrade Suleiman Abdul commended the initiator of the project, facilitated under the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR and delivered through the Federal Ministry of Steel Development led by Hon. Minister Shaibu Abubakar Audu’s aimed at improving electricity supply, boosting conducive environment for learning, and enhancing the quality of life for students as well as improve security.
Student groups, Religion Associations and Staffs also trooped out in large numbers to express appreciation, saying the project will reduce their cost of living and create new opportunities. And numerous praises to the Prince of Niger ” Prince Shaibu Abubakar Audu for his relentless efforts in transforming campuses in the recent solar Energy light up projects. Promised to come out in massess to canvass votes for TINUBU Re-election.
Mariam Omeiza of Mass Communication department prayed for the continued success of the President and the Minister, and pledged to protect and maintain the facility for the benefit of present and future generations.
