Her Excellency, the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has officially commissioned the Kogi State Treasury House in Lokoja.
The newly commissioned facility is expected to strengthen financial accountability, improve transparency, and enhance the efficient management of public funds in Kogi State. The project is part of the state government’s efforts to modernize public financial administration and promote good governance.
The commissioning ceremony was attended by top government officials, political leaders, traditional rulers, and other dignitaries who described the Treasury House as a significant milestone in the state’s development.
The Kogi State Government noted that the facility will improve the coordination of treasury operations, support prudent financial management, and further strengthen institutional capacity in line with global best practices.
