• Hail Engr Seyi Makinde for Flying APM Presidential Ticket
To avoid any pitfalls and legal lacuna, Allied People’s Movement, APM National Publicity Secretary, Abubakar Yusuf has appealed to Osun voters to elect Adewale Adebayo, APM Governorship Candidate in the August election.
He made the revelation in Abuja on Tuesday stating that to avoid what happened in Kogi some years ago when Late Prince Abubakar Audu won the election and died , Osun may also witnessed similar scenario were a governor who win election will be disqualified by the court in view of the dangling deregistration of political parties.
He said APM will be the best thing to happen to Osun and the entire South West, considering the political build up and current dispensation.
“It is high time the people of Osun to move from politics of imposition, and old timers , who only believes in altercations rather than developing the state .”
While describing Adewale as a young , energetic, exposed politician who will take the state to the greater heights and promise land .
He congratulated Governor Seyi Makinde, the Presidential Candidate of APM for keeping along with the spirit of our political founding fathers , who believes in opposition politics to attract development to the western part of the country.
“What Awolowo , SLA Akintola, and others ,even President Bola Ahmed Tinubu did in Lagos at the early return to democracy is playing out in the south west , with Seyi flagging the APM Presidential ticket .”
“There is nothing wrong with Governor Seyi Makinde flagging the ticket of APM, as Lagos during the first Republic accommodated the Zikist, Awoist among many other political parties who were in opposition.”
Yusuf maintained that the Allied People’s Movement APM will attract needed development to the South West, Nigeria at large.
