The All Progresives Congress ( APC) flag bearer for the Ika South Constituency seat in the Delta State House of Assembly, ( DTHA ) Hon. Mrs. Cordilia Anyangwu, has assured the people of effective and people-oriented representation if elected into office in the 2027 general elections.
Hon. Anyangwu gave the assurance during the party’s Ward-to-Ward Tour to Ward 2 of Ika South Local Government Area, where she was warmly received by party faithful, community leaders, women, youths, and grassroots mobilisers.
Expressing appreciation for the overwhelming support shown to her and the APC, Hon. Anyangwu urged members to remain united and committed to delivering victory for all APC candidates, from the presidency to the State House of Assembly.
She particularly commended the women of Ika South Local Government Area for working harmoniously with their male counterparts to strengthen the party and mobilise support ahead of the 2027 elections.
Hon. Anyagwu stressed that teamwork, unity, and sustained grassroots mobilisation remained the key to the party’s success.
Speakers at the event unanimously declared their unwavering support for Hon. Anyangwu, describing her as a dedicated grassroots politician who had consistently identified with the needs and aspirations of the people.
They expressed confidence that she would provide purposeful representation and be a strong voice for Ika South Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly.
Party faithful, including youths, community stakeholders, and grassroots mobilisers, pledged to work tirelessly for her victory, assuring her of their total commitment throughout the electioneering process.
The atmosphere at the gathering was electric as party members repeatedly chanted, “Carry Go! Na You We Know!”—a slogan reflecting their confidence in Hon. Anyangwu’s leadership, competence, and capacity to deliver quality legislative representation.
The APC members also pledged to intensify mobilisation across polling units and wards by encouraging eligible voters to register, participate actively in party activities, and strengthen the party’s grassroots structures in preparation for the 2027 general elections.
Mrs. Amaka Egboro, an APC House of Representatives aspirant in the recently concluded party primaries from Ward 2, warmly welcomed Hon. Anyangwu and publicly endorsed her aspiration.
